Outline
The B.A. (Honours) in Multimedia Journalism program gives students a strong foundation of journalistic techniques, such as ethical considerations, writing, editing, and news gathering. Along with it the program also explores multimedia platforms, including topics like Digital Reporting, Visual Story telling, Radio production and podcasting, Data journalism and Immersive Journalism.
Students will mandatorily undergo internships, workshops, and practical projects that helps them to become industry-ready professionals. To benefit with NEP students in final year choose to pursue an Honors with Research track and minor in either English, psychology, or photography.

Overview
College of Communication, Culture and Media (formerly known as College of Journalism and Mass Communication) at MGM University offers a four-year undergraduate program Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Multimedia Journalism. This program is designed to prepare students for various career oppurtunities in the dynamic digital media landscape by integrating contemporary multimedia tools with traditional journalism principles.
Students will study a wide range of topics over the course of the eight semesters, including media ethics, data journalism, digital storytelling, news reporting, python and innovative technologies like AI and VR/AR. P rogram also provides students with the opportunities for research projects, multidisciplinary minors, and specialization to foster the holistic educational experience.
An Innovative combination of traditional journalism and emerging technologies, the program proficient students with digital skills making them ready for the future of media.
Every semester comprised of various capstone projects which makes students skilled in digital technology. Projects like documentaries, digital magazines, data journalism stories, and immersive AR/VR journalism focuses mainly on connecting academic learning with practical media innovation.
Students have to actively participate in practical sessions, fieldwork, and internships, to help them in blending classroom learning to the real-world experience.
Training in photography, podcasting, digital marketing, Python essentials, and mobile journalism equips students with versatile skills.
Electives such as Social Media Management, Science & Tech Journalism, and Investigative Journalism allow students to choose the courses as per their specific interests.
Final-year students have to undergo dissertations and research projects, for a deeper understanding about journalism challenges and innovations.
Courses like Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), environmental studies, NSS, fine arts, and yoga promote holistic development.
