Overview
The first two years are conducted on-campus at CCCM, featuring state-of-the-art computer labs, news studios, and automated libraries. You will build strong theoretical, analytical, and technical capabilities across essential modules:
- Tools for Multimedia Journalism & Multi-media Reporting Techniques
- News Gathering & Understanding News
- Writing Skills for Multi-Media & Print Production
- Basics of Photography & Basics of Graphic Designing
- Television News Production & Podcasting

Our curriculum is developed and aligned alongside Sakal Media Group to reflect contemporary digital media workflows used in premier newsrooms. You will study under an outcome-based framework designed specifically to make fresh graduates fully employment-ready upon graduation.
Gain real-world, hands-on experience through structured apprenticeship and internship opportunities provided by Sakal Media Group:
- Extended Industry Exposure: Third-year students undergo 3 to 6 months of apprenticeship across Sakal's offices nationwide.
- Cross-Platform Training: Work across multiple media verticals, including Print, Television, and Digital Platforms.
- Live Project Experience: Participate in live reporting, real-time newsroom assignments, and media operations during your degree.
Learn directly from veterans in the field. Editors, producers, and senior media executives from Sakal Media Group actively participate in workshops, guest sessions, and mentorship programs to help build your professional network and journalistic acumen.
